Stan Lee created characters who helped me out in some of the worst times in my childhood. It’s was hard to believe there was any good in the world from what I all that I had to live through. I found hope, kindness, and love within these comics and movies. They made me who I am today, I refuse to walk past a person in need because I want to be the superhero who made them smile that day. This is the kindof person I have become thanks to Stan Lee, and I couldn’t love him anymore than I already do – Excelsior!

Living on a small farm in N.E. Missouri in the 60’s, Stan’s imagination through the Marvel comics helped to cultivate my own imagination and provided me with both entertainment and hope that anything was possible if you put your heart and mind into. We won’t see the likes of his ingenuity ever again and his work will transcend generations to come.
