Diddy’s Ex-Girlfriend, Kim Porter Dies Aged 47

Kim Porter, Diddy’s ex-girlfriend is no more. She died aged 47 on 15th November 2018. She was a mother to three of Sean Combs’ children. She dated him starting from 1994 to 2007 and had three children together.

Many celebrities including 50 Cent, Missy Elliot, Rihanna, and Kevin Hart expressed their tribute on social media. Rihanna uploaded a picture and captioned:

‘this is heavy. heartbroken about this man. we lost a real one today, beautiful inside and out. so many will be affected by this, some won’t even know why…but the whole world was graced by the vibrance in your spirit. My deepest condolences to the ones that were blessed enough to know, meet, and love her! Such a special soul man! This don’t even feel real! May God comfort and protect her children and loved ones! RIP @ladykp

What was Porter’s Cause of Death? Funeral?

On 15th November 2018, Porter was found dead in her home. Combs’ representative stated:

‘Sadly, I can confirm the passing of Kim Porter. I ask that you give the families privacy at this time.’

According to LA County Sheriff’s Office statement, Porter’s death investigation was done at 11:40 a.m. at her residence in Toluca Lake, California. She was identified as dead at the scene.

However, her death cause is undetermined. TMZ reported an emergency dispatch call, which mentioned ‘cardiac arrest.’ While her death cause is unclear, an insider revealed that she was suffering from pneumonia. The officials are yet to confirm the cause, as it might be either flu or pneumonia.

Kim’s funeral details are also not provided.

Who was Kim Porter?

Kim was a model and an actress, born on 16th December 1971 in Columbus, Georgia. Right after graduating her high school, she migrated to Atlanta.  She had acted in Mama I Want to Sing movie and Wicked Wicked Games series.

She dated Sean Combs from 1994 to 2007 and had three kids: Christian (son) and twin sister Jessie James and D’Lila. Moreover, she also had a son, Quincy from her previous relationship.

Just a few days before her death, Kim thanked Diddy on his birthday captioning:

‘Thank you for giving me the best gifts of life – our children.’
