This made Kim first female Korean solo artist who got 100 million views on a single Youtube video.

Kim in 2012 appeared in Psy’s worldwide hit song “Gangnam Style.” The duet performance helped her enhanced her career. The song “Ice Cream” of the EP Melting was on the number one entry on Gaon Chart. In 2016, the band 4MINUTE was disbanded, and Kim released her fifth Extended Play (EP) Awesome.

Kim has worked with various artists under Cube Entertainment. She has worked with Jang Hyun-Seung forming the duo Trouble Maker. Moreover, in 2017 she along with her band member of Triple H released the EP 199X. Apart from her singing career, Kim has worked on numerous television series and like ‘Invincible Youth,’ ‘Waving the Korean Flag,’ ‘Dancing with the stars,’ and many more. The artist has appeared in the movie ‘Midnight FM’ in 2010.

Kim was nominated and has won several Awards. To name few are ‘Digital Bonsang’ Golden Disc Awards, ‘Streaming Award’ Gaon Chart Music Awards, ‘K-pop Female Artist,’  and Break Tudo Awards 2018.
