He attended California Polytechnic State for pursuing the Bachelor Science; Later joined Atlantic Veterinary College Canada from where he graduated with DVM degree in 2004. Buckeye is the son of a famous actor and producer Timothy Bottoms and a Folk Singer Alicia Cory. At the age of one, his parents got divorced. His siblings are William Bodie Bottoms (b. 1985), Bridget Bottoms (b. 1987) and Benton Bottoms (b. 1990), all are very supportive of his TV career.

Dr. Buckeye started his career as Veterinarian in Santa Cruz in 2006 providing the mobile vet services on Kauai and Maui and covered all over the Kauai’s island as an animal caretaker. He spent more than twelve years in his profession. With his devotion and working skills, he also agreed to document his veterinary work for National Geography Wild Network TV show. The initial season of the show premiered the pilot show which had a positive outcome leads him to sign the full eight seasons with National Geography.

His Show includes of the several clips like “Pig-Squeak,” “Off-Roading Vet,” “Pregnant Pygmy Goats” and “It’s Like Pulling Teeth” in which he treats the dogs, pigs, horses, alpaca goats, donkeys, and cattle. The new show of the season premiered on 7^th April 2018.
