Broc began his career in Motocross racing as an amateur in 2006 and competed in the AMA Motocross, and came in 15^th place overall in his first year. He progressed gradually in the following year, earning the fifth spot in AMA Supercross Lites East Region and finished in the Top 10 spots in the 250 MX Championship.

The year 2009 and 2010 saw him as one of the contenders for the 250 MX Class, finishing inside the Top 10 spots. After six long years without a championship, he won the West Coast Lite Series in 2011 but ended in the seventh spot for three consecutive years in the 250 MX Championship.

In 2012, Broc had to move up a class and compete in 450 Class after reaching a maximum point in 250class. In 2014, he sustained an injury putting him out of the 2014 Lucas Oil Pro Motocross Championship.

On 23^rd April 2018, FIM announced that Broc failed an anti-doping test during San Diego Supercross and got suspended immediately. As per FIM, he got positive test results of “5-methyl hexane-2-amine,” which FIM prohibits. During his interview, Broc said he does not know how it got into his system and announced that he would be eligible to compete from February 2020.
