Whitney is an American actress, comedian, and producer. She is famous as the creator of the CBS sitcom 2 Broke Girls from 2011-2017 and the NBC sitcom Whitney from 2011-2013. She is also a producer and writer of the ABC revival Roseanne.

She had also performed on The Tonight Show with Conan O’Brien and Last Call with Carson Daly. Whitney was seen in the 2008 movie Made of Honor and co-starred on The Tony Rock Project.

Whitney also had a talk show, Love You, Mean It with Whitney Cummings on E! in 2012, which got canceled after broadcasting 11 episodes. She has also worked in several episodes of Undateable. She was one of the executive producers, head writers, and overseer of day-to-day production of the 2018 revival of the comedy series Roseanne.
