Who is Kim Taehyung?

Kim Taehyung who is also known as V is a singer in the favorite South Korean band Bangtan Boys (BTS).  He among other talents writes songs, is a dancer, plays Keyboard and has played in Korean drama.

Kim Taehyung is the eldest son in the family. He was born in Daegu, South Korea on December 30, 1995. The BTS entertainer is very close to his family hasn’t revealed his parent’s names yet. His parents were a farmer and had to struggle a lot. Despite being born on not-so-privileged family, he takes his father as a role model who supported his son in every step of his struggle. It’s a blessing to have such parents. V’s siblings are sister Kim Eon Jin and brother Kim Jeong Gyu. Initially, V started his journey in BTS with a track “No More Dream.” He was appreciated for his music composition “The Most Beautiful Moment in life, part 1” and co-wrote and produced the song “Hold me tight.” The singer has also contributed his words for the song “Fun Boyz.” His solo “Stigma” from the album “Wings” was a hit on the Billboard World Digital singles and reached number 10 and was charted at 26 on the Gaon Music Chart.

Apart from his appearance in BTS band he has worked as an actor in Hwarang: The poet Warrior Youth as a supporting role under his real name. “It’s you” was the song that was nominated for Best OST song. His band has also won numerous Awards such as Melon Music Award, Gaon Chart K-pop Awards, Golden Disk Award, and the Seoul Music Award.
