Who is Jungkook?

Jungkook is the youngest member of the favorite boy band Bangtan Boys (BTS) who is lead vocalist. Moreover, he is also popular among the youth for his various dance moves and fluent rap.

Jungkook’s real name is Jeon Jeong-guk. He was born in Busan, South Korea on 1 September 1997. The zodiac sign of singer is Virgo and belongs to Asian Ethnicity. His Family consists of three members Father, Mother, and a Brother.

Jungkook hasn’t publicly announced his parent’s name, but his older brother is Jung Hyun. Talking about his education, he is currently studying in Global Cyber University, Department of Broadcasting and Entertainment. He has graduated from Performance High School in Seoul in the year 2014, and from the school of Performing Arts Seoul in 2017. Apart from his Academic background, he holds a Black belt in Taekwondo, loves to dance and B-boying.

Originally Jungkook wanted to become a Badminton Player, but the songs of G-Dragon changed his mind to pursue singing and dancing career. Jungkoot, at the age of thirteen, along with strong determination, participated in the audition called Superstar K3 but unfortunately, he could not make it to the final. However, luck had favored him on his way back home. He got the offer from 8 different talent agencies. However, he accepted the offer of Big Hit Entertainment. To meet his future bandmate RM personally was the major reason behind choosing this agency.

Jungkook also started to take a dancing lesson in one of the most prominent institutes. Then, he became the part of BTS boys.  He debuted from the song No More Dream with the band on June 13, 2013. Jungkook is the lead member of the group and performs as a lead dancer, lead vocalist, and sub-rapper. In 2016 he released a song Begin from the album Wings and dedicated to the members of the band to help him become the prominent member of the group.

Jungkook has worked with different Korean singers and politician in the project called One Dream One Korea. The motto of the song was to destroy the barrier of two nations South and North Korea. He has appeared in different music videos and TV shows. He has directed some TV programs such as “Flower Boy Romance,” “Special MC in Music Core,” “National Idol Singing Contest” and many more. He has also appeared in the different commercial advertisement.

Furthermore, due to his hard work and endless effort he has achieved what others cannot gain in a lifetime. He is awarded MelOn award: artist of the year in 2013, best male dance award in 2015, Golden Disk Award: Newcomer award in 2014, Disk Bongsang in the year 2016.
