The new Miss Universe is here!
Catriona Gray, Miss Philippines was crowned as 2018 Miss Universe in the finale, held this Sunday in Bangkok, Thailand. Tamaryn Green, Miss South Africa, became first runner-up while Sthefany Gutierrez, Miss Venezuela, became second runner-up.

Gray beat all global contestants this in the finale held in Bangkok. Steve Harvey along with Ashley Graham hosted the show. The contestants participated in events like gown presentation and swimsuit opposing others for the desirable tiara.
All-Female Selection Committee
Steve gave an opening speech and also announced that this year’s pageant features all-female selection committee. A fashion designer Monique Lhuillier, 1899 Miss Universe Bui Simon, 1992 Miss Universe Michelle McLean, an architect Richelle Singson-Michael, CulturIntel CEO Lili Gil Valetta, SWAAY Media founder Iman Oubou, and Women’s March co-founder Janaye Ingram comprises the committee, he said.
